I have some lovely seafood shots from today, but I’m afraid they are not for sharing, since I can only share the pic informed by the OED word of the day, which was me-too. Me-too is defined as: ‘A person who imitates others; a copycat’ (OED). I admire anyone who can take a decent bird shot, they’re pesky things to shoot as they won’t keep still. However, IMHO, there are way too many me-too bird pix floating around, so I thought I’d join the club with a me-too bird on a stick. Thankfully, this bird wasn’t flying anywhere, since it is a lampshade (and an expensive one at that). It won’t be finding a place at Delamanda Towers, since (as those of you, who have been following this blog, will know) I really don’t like the little blighters – Daphne du Maurier ruined any ornothological aspirations I may have had (although she’s still my favourite author!).
Day #23 of a 365 project, where the daily pic is informed by theĀ OED word of the day.
