Today’s word of the day was paysagist, meaning: ‘A landscape artist’ (OED) and it applies to photographers as much as to painters. Indeed, one of the examples given makes mention of ‘that most indefatigable photographic paysagist’, Ansel Adams. I am not a paysagist, and as it was so wet today, any proper paysagists who may ordinarily have been abroad were nowhere to be seen, so options were limited. I have only a humble offering of an urban landscape as my interpretation – and I’m pretty certain that the Society of Paysagists will not be beating a path to my door, as a result.
Day #30 of a 365 project, where the daily pic is informed by theĀ OED word of the day.
