I am sending out a lot of aroha today. I’m working on a few things that finally seem to be coming together (touch wood) and so it was most apposite that today’s word should be aroha, meaning: ‘Chiefly in Maori contexts: love, affection; warmth of feeling; an instance of this’ (OED). Note: No Maoris or New Zealand Pinot Noir were harmed or involved in the creation of my aroha.
Day #36 of a 365 project, where the daily pic is informed by the OED word of the day.
