170514 Catford’s Chemin de Fer

170514_LR As chemin de fer is used ‘Chiefly in French contexts: a railway’, (OED), perhaps today’s post should be entitled chemin de few du chat. Fab day in Bleeding London, starting with a trip to the pre-fab estate in Catford, a gentle stroll to Greenwich (much of which was done by bus as I was on party preparation duty) followed by the public launch of Bleeding London at The Cave. One of the highlights was the pie, mash and liquor from Goddards – a culinary delight; and if you’ve never tried it, you should do so!

Day #137 of a 365 project, where the daily pic is informed by theĀ OED word of the day.
