The elderly relative has packed up his “ombrelle” (‘A parasol, a sunshade’, OED) but it has not yet gone into hibernation as there are rumours that we are going to have an Indian summer. My camera still hasn’t recovered from Monday’s drenching and I think it’s going to have to go in for repair. In the meantime, I’m using MisterMac’s old M8, but I have no idea where the filters are and so I’m now in the world of weird colours.
Day #238 of a 365 project, where the daily pic is informed by theĀ OED word of the day.
