Not quite a witch, which is what is really required for an “Old Higue” (‘In legends and popular stories: a witch, said to shed her skin at night and fly (sometimes in the form of a ball of fire) in search of sleeping people, esp. babies, from whom she sucks the blood’, OED), but definitely the scariest costume of the night. Fabulous evening of readings from Bleeding London, preview of some of the pix that will appear in the exhibition and then a night shoot around the West End on what must have been the warmest Hallow’een ever.
Day #300 of a 365 project, where the daily pic is informed by theĀ OED word of the day.
