Although I’m no “maven”: ‘An expert, a connoisseur; a knowledgeable enthusiast, an aficionado’ (OED), I’m enjoying the works of those who are. Art week continues to showcase an amazing array of talent – some of it I just don’t get, some of it is utterly inspiring and some of it is truly “I wish I’d thought of that” stuff. I have seen a lot of the latter today. The trouble is that a good exhibition means … a good catalogue/book, which means I have longer arms than when I arrived.
