I have to admit to not having watched any recent day Dr Who – I think the last time I saw an episode, Tom Baker was the doctor. In those days, the daleks were very “pauciloquent” (‘That uses few words in speech or conversation; laconic’, OED) and I’m sure the only vocabulary they had was “Exterminate”, so a trip to the BBC (where Penny and I were doing a speed-dating type photo review – what fun and what fab talent!) provided today’s pic.
