170315 Irish Agra

St Patrick’s Day, so it’s an Irish word today – “Agra” meaning: ‘As a term of endearment: ‘my love’; ‘dear’’, (OED). East London showed little evidence of the Guinness-drinking shenanigans that one finds in the centre of town and so we have to make do with Irish colours instead. Orange and green courtesy of the London Borough of Newham.

Day #78 of the second 365 project, where the daily pic is informed by the OED word of the day.
