The NaNoWriMo 2017 call to arms popped into my inbox this morning. Shall I? Shan’t I? Of course I shall – it was such good fun last year, even if I’m not a best-selling novelist yet. If anyone wants to keep me company, you can sign up here.
I learned a lot from last year’s experience, lessons that I hope will make this year’s journey somewhat easier. Lesson #1 – don’t let anyone read it until it’s finished. But there’ll be the odd teaser along the way.
Last year’s attempt is still in the editing suite and it’s nearly finished, but it’s been so long in the making, I guess another month won’t make much difference. And it’s already way too late to get it into the shops for Christmas…
