So Otto leaves Paris and heads back to Vienna. I’ve left Paris and headed to London, but I’ll be joining him in Vienna shortly. Today we have another flashback to 1938 and all that Wagnerian drama – both on and off stage. A track from Parsifal is today’s addition to the playlist and as the director of the ROH says ‘not many jokes in that one’. What it lacks in laughs it makes up for in other areas.
